Max Mello, PA-CCareer coaching for PAs, NPs and CRNAs

Coaching for the decisions that set your pay for years

A first PA job, a specialty change, a move to a new state, a contract renewal: each one locks in pay, schedule and restrictions that are hard to undo. Max coaches PAs, NPs and CRNAs through them one on one, by phone or video, anywhere in the US.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Free intro call

Tell Max what you are weighing. He will say whether coaching would help, or whether a few answers on the call cover it.

  2. Step 2

    Send what you have

The offer letter, contract draft, CV or job description, plus what matters most to you: pay, schedule, location, specialty.

  3. Step 3

    Working session

Max walks through what he found, what is normal, what is worth asking for, and how to ask.

  4. Step 4

    Follow-through

Help reading the employer's reply, so you do not have to decide on a counter alone.

Coaching and recruiting are separate

Max is also Director of Physician and APP Recruitment at Voll Recruiting. If you want help finding a role, that side is free to you, because employers pay the fee. Coaching is for when you want someone in your corner on any offer, including ones from employers Voll does not work with. If Voll places you in a role within 12 months of a paid coaching engagement, Max credits your coaching fee back in full, so you never pay twice.

Not sure which you need?

The recruiter or coach guide explains the difference. Or just book the free call and ask. Email works too: max@vollrecruiting.com.

Questions

Is coaching the same as working with a recruiter?

No. As a recruiter at Voll Recruiting, Max is paid by employers to fill specific roles, and that is free to you. Coaching is paid by you and covers whatever job you are considering, including ones Max has nothing to do with. You never need coaching to work with Voll.

What if Voll Recruiting ends up placing me?

Then your coaching was free. If Voll places you in a role within 12 months of a paid coaching engagement, Max credits the full coaching fee back to you. The employer pays the recruiting fee, so you never pay twice.

Can coaching guarantee me a job or a raise?

No. Coaching helps you understand an offer, decide what to ask for and ask well. The employer decides. Anyone who guarantees a result is selling something else.

Is a contract review the same as legal advice?

No. Max reviews offers from a clinician's and recruiter's view: pay structure, productivity terms, call, schedule and what is common in the market. Have a licensed attorney in your state review the final contract before you sign.

Do you work with clinicians outside Texas?

Yes. Max is based in Austin and works with PAs, NPs and CRNAs in every state, by phone and video.
